W. Rob McCormack, D.M.D.
Dr. McCormack was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Georgia. After finishing his undergraduate studies he attended the Medical College of Georgia where he earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Following this, he completed five years of residency training at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and Clinics. First, he spent a year doing a general practice residency in hospital dentistry. The remainder of his residency was spent training formally in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
His surgical interests are varied, but he has a keen interest in dental implant surgery and bone grafting. He has privileges at the local hospitals where he is involved in treating maxillofacial trauma patients.
Dr. McCormack is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Georgia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the American College of Oral Implantologists.
